We chose Easy Living Pools for our pool installation and couldn't be happier with the result. For starters, we have a fairly small lot in a neighborhood with a pretty strict HOA. Brian (our initial contact) felt confident he could create a design that could maximize our space and get approval from the HOA. We initially were going to do a rectangular pool, but Brian felt a freeform pool would give us more options and we loved his design! He got us through the HOA approval process very easily! We also threw them a curveball by asking for a spa/pool combo that they hadn't done before. They were open to doing it for us and educated themselves in the differences in plumbing and electrical when it comes to a hot tub that pours into the pool. Installation to completion took just over 2 months and when I look at my backyard now and what it looked like at the end of March, I can't believe all they accomplished in that short amount of time. I have heard horror stories of pools taking a year and legal battles with neighbors - I can happily say that was not the case with us. We also changed a few things in the design even as construction was occurring and they accommodated everything for us. Chris (the owner) gives you his personal cell phone and you can text him anytime. He came over on a Friday night at 8PM to turn on the pool when the plumbing was completed and called me at a baseball game and asked me "what temperature I want the spa at?". When we got home the pool was hot with all the lights on and it was an awesome memory seeing it lit up for the first time. He also came over on the weekends, early mornings and the night before Father's Day to address a few issues. He is very committed to the customer and making them happy with the end product. We love our pool - the kids are in it everyday. I feel like we are on vacation everyday! We have gotten so many compliments and I've told all our friends that if you are thinking about a pool, you have to go with Easy Living!

Overall we are happy with our pool. It was pretty impressive how quickly the hole was dug and pool put into place. We were eager to get it installed and they couldn’t get it done fast enough but they also made sure it was done the right way from the design we wanted and the installation of everything. We had some small (which is to be expected with a big project) but they resolved then very quickly. We would have recommended them to other people we know.

Update 5/17/24 - Had an issue with the pool heater. Called Rheem to do a warranty claim. Also emailed Easy Living. Rheem was going to have to mail the parts, then coordinate an installer. Easy Living had the parts in stock and offered to come fix the unit. Turns out the touch panel had corrosion and they replaced with a new one. Glad to see the customer service has improved and they stepped in to help. Big thank you to Chris. Summary - Horrible communication, poor customer service, and poor workmanship. Easy Living installed a fiber glass pool in our back yard. We were told it would be an 8 week build, but ended up taking from a start date of 7/26 and final inspection on 11/1 (14 weeks). The pool dig and initial install went well and Easy Living was ahead of schedule... However, once the concrete was poured, Easy Living slowed work for some reason and we had trouble getting responses to our inquiries. We went three full weeks without anyone on site. Once work resumed, the fence installers cut the electrical to the pool cover, rendering all electrical useless (filter, pump, heater). It was almost a full month before it was fixed and meant we couldn't use the pool at this time. In the end, with the help of the president of the company, everything got fixed and finished and we're really excited for next year to begin using the pool. One other thing was the abruptness and tone of the office manager (Rikki). This started when we sent our initial deposit. I noticed that the money had been returned to my checking account. I called my bank and was told that the bank rejected the deposit because the endorsee didn't match who the checkwas written to. I promptly contacted Easy Living Pools and they admonished us for our bank returningthe check saying they would waive the returned check fee only this time... even though it was their error that caused the check to be returned. Later on in the build process, we received an email in ALL CAPS alerting us that we had a past due bill. This was during the time when Easy Living stopped showing up. Previously, we had handed every check directly to an Easy Living Rep who was onsite... with no one here, there was no one to hand it to. Again, later on in the build process, we received an invoice for a pool cover, even though the pool cover 1. didn't have electrical going to it (see above with the fence) and 2. wasn't fully installed. When I inquired why we received the invoice for uncompleted work... we were told that we had a fully functioning pool cover and payment was due immediately. This turned out to be incredibly untrue as once the power was fixed, it turned out the electrical component for the pool cover was defective. We're really excited for the pool, but the process wasn't painless. Hope this review helps.
